As a mentioned in
previous post, before Aleksander only three men crossed Atlantic in kayak. But as you see on the pictures below, Romer's and Lindemann's boats was rather powered by sails than by paddle. Only Peter Bray's expedition was pure human powered challenge, just like Aleksander's.
